The BEST Dishes From EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival

EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is a culinary exploration of cuisines across 6 continents. During our last visit to Walt Disney World, we had a blast snacking around World Showcase and hitting up the festival food booths.  In this article, I will cover everything we sampled at EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival, and which dishes we thought were the best of the fest! For a full list of Food and Wine Festival offerings, head to the Walt Disney World website. Coraline Themed Dinner

With spooky season in full swing, we continued our themed dinner nights with a menu inspired by the movie, Coraline! Coraline is one of our favorite movies to watch during our Halloween festivities.  We find ourselves referencing it all year long!  The film is haunting, yet charming, and the perfect basis for a spooky themed dinner. Food is a major factor in the film, as Coraline’s sinister Other Mother uses it to lure Coraline into her idealized fantasy world.  Because of this, I’ve always wanted to create a Coraline themed dinner, but the task was a little daunting.  Other Mother is a legendary cook, after all!  I knew it was…

Ok, so this is a big step away from the Disney magic I usually focus on.  But I have a horror-loving 15-year-old I gotta bend the rules for sometimes!  So, we came up with some fun horror-themed dishes to enjoy during our horror movie marathon.  Each menu item features one of our favorite horror icons: Michael Myers, Ghostface, Jason Voorhees, Pennywise, Freddy Krueger, and Chucky. Which dish will you be executing this…

    Halloweentown Themed Dinner

This week, we’re kicking off the spooky season with a special Halloweentown themed dinner! Halloween starts early in our house – too early some may say.  But the way I see it, if Halloween parties are taking place at Disney, then we should be celebrating too! So, to kick-start the Halloween season, we enjoyed a themed dinner to the Disney Channel Original Movie – Halloweentown! To create our Halloweentown dinner menu, I took inspiration from the characters and fun food references in the film. So, grab your broomstick and a witch’s brew as we share our Halloweentown dinner and movie night! Town Square Jack-O’-Lantern Cheeseball The giant jack-o’-lantern in the…

    Jaws Themed Dinner

This week, we enjoyed a shark-themed dinner while watching the cinematic classic – Jaws! My family is all about sharks this time of year.  With Discovery Channel’s Shark Week programming and SharkFest on Disney+ we just can’t seem to get enough of these incredible animals.  Through these programs, we understand that sharks aren’t the man-eating villains that Hollywood would have us believe.  But we still can’t help but love a good shark thriller.  And no shark film is as infamous as “the one that started it all” – Jaws! Now I’ll admit, this themed dinner is a change of pace for us.  Leading up to this point, we’ve enjoyed dinners…

    Avatar Themed Dinner

This week, we enjoyed an Avatar themed dinner inspired by the food and drinks at Walt Disney World’s Pandora! Pandora World of Avatar is a themed land inspired by the film.  This exotic and strikingly beautiful area celebrates the culture of the Na’vi and their relationship with nature.  And to commemorate the release of Avatar: The Way of Water on Disney+, I decided to make some of our favorite dishes from Pandora for a special dinner! Pandora has two dining locations: Satu’li Canteen and Pongu Pongu. At Satu’li Canteen, guests step inside a former RDA mess hall, now adorned with Na’vi art and artifacts.  On the menu you will find…

    Sanaa Dining Review

This week, we’re sharing our dining review of Walt Disney World’s hidden gem – Sanaa! Sanaa is located in Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.  As the name implies, this stunning resort is themed like an African lodge and houses gorgeous African artifacts and artwork.  And outside on the savannah, guests can view free-roaming animals such as zebras, giraffes, and gazelles.  There is so much beauty throughout this resort, and dining at Sanaa is a great excuse to explore it! Sanaa offers two distinct dining experiences.  In the mornings, guests can partake in the Kuamsha Breakfast, a casual quick-service option that requires no reservations.  For lunch and dinner, however,…
