Located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Galaxy’s Edge is every Star Wars fan’s playground.  This themed area is a bustling outpost located on the remote planet, Batuu.  Visitors can browse the lively markets, build their own droids and lightsabers, evade the First Order, and even pilot the Millennium Falcon!  But one of my favorite aspects of Galaxy’s Edge is the food!

Galaxy’s Edge is known for its rich theming and storytelling, and that attention to detail is also present in its galactic fare!  There are tons of unique offerings here that can’t be missed.

So, prepare for hyper speed, as we blast off on a foodie tour of Galaxy’s Edge!

Kat Saka’s Kettle

To kick off our Galaxy’s Edge Food Guide, we are making a stop at Kat Saka’s Kettle.

Merchant Kat Saka collects grains from across the galaxy to sell at this food stall.  Guests can order a variety of snacks including various popcorn flavors, coffee, and sodas.

The most popular offering at Kat Saka’s Kettle is the Outpost Mix – a sweet and savory mix of popcorn flavors.

If you need your coffee fix, Kat Saka also offers a fantastic Cold Brew Black Caf made with Joffrey’s Coffee, sweet cream cheese, and chocolate puffs.  You can also try it spiked with the addition of chocolate liqueur.  Delicious!

Ronto Roasters

Next up on our Galaxy’s Edge Foodie Guide is Ronto Roasters, an exotic meat stall.

Inside Ronto Roasters, you’ll find a pitmaster droid grilling a large slab of ronto meat under a podracer engine.  The ronto meat (which is actually pork sausage) is used in this stall’s signature dish – the Ronto Wrap.

Ordering a Ronto Wrap is a must-do during your visit to Galaxy’s Edge.  This specialty is made with roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and tangy slaw wrapped in pita bread.

If you’re spending your morning in Galaxy’s Edge, you can also try the breakfast version made with eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheddar, and peppercorn sauce.  You can’t go wrong with either!

Plant-based wraps are also available on the breakfast and dinner menus.  In addition to the various wraps, Ronto Roasters also serves Rising Moons Overnight Oats during breakfast, Kyryll Pork Rinds, Andoan Fruit, and various specialty beverages.

Milk Stand

If you want to sample the famous Blue Milk from the original Star Wars trilogy, then you must stop by the Milk Stand!

The Milk Stand at Galaxy's Edge

In addition to Blue Milk, The Milk Stand also serves Green Milk which was featured in The Last Jedi.  Both frosty beverages boast citrusy flavors and creamy textures.  If you’re feeling extra adventurous, order one of each and mix them together!

Both blends are non-dairy, meaning the “milk” is actually vegan and lactose-friendly.

If you’d like a spiked version of either milk, try the Blue Milk Cooler with Bacardi Rum, or the Green Milk Cooler with Corazon Blanco Tequila.

Docking Bay 7

Housed in a working hangar bay, Docking Bay 7 is a popular local eatery in Batuu.  The genius behind the menu is Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs.  Using the knowledge and exotic ingredients he has collected across the galaxy, Chef Tuggs has created a truly out-of-this-world menu.

The dishes here are incredibly themed and have otherworldly qualities in their presentation.  Menu items have been switched up over time, but two delicious staples are the Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs and Fried Endorian Chicken Tip Yip.

The menu also features beef stir-fry, poke, salads, plant-based offerings, and specialty beverages.  And remember those Ronto Wraps we mentioned before?  They are available to order at Docking Bay 7 after 3pm!

Oga’s Cantina

Our final stop on our Galaxy’s Edge Foodie Guide is the infamous watering hole – Oga’s Cantina.  Known to be a popular hangout for smugglers, bounty hunters, pilots, and weary travelers – it’s clear this cantina is brimming with character and story.

Oga’s Cantina features an extensive list of cocktails, beer, wine, cider, and nonalcoholic beverages.  Popular cocktails include the Bespin Fizz and Fuzzy Tauntaun.

You can also order a glass of Blue Milk served with a bantha-inspired cookie!

Food offerings, however, are limited to just a couple bar snacks: Batuu Bits and the Happabore Sampler.

Batuu Bits are essentially a sweet and spicy party mix served with spiced chermoula dip.  The Happabore Sampler, on the other hand, is Oga’s take on a charcuterie board with various meats, cheeses, and pork cracklings. I love charcuterie, so this dish was a big win for me!

Oga’s also serves “provisions” which are made with Jell-O, boba pearls, and popping candy.  We tried Oga’s Obsession, a nonalcoholic offering made with lemonade and cotton candy flavor.  The Rodian Ration, alternatively, is made with Sprite, Titos vodka, and Sour Apple Pucker.

Oga’s is a great place to grab some drinks, but if you’re wanting a meal, head to Docking Bay 7 instead!
