How to Throw a Star Wars Life Day Party
This week, we combined our love of Star Wars and Christmas by throwing a Life Day party! What is Life Day, you ask? Well, Star Wars super fans can tell you that Life Day is a Wookiee holiday first introduced in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special. The special follows Chewbacca and Han Solo, as they attempt to get Chewy home in time for the holiday while evading the Galactic Empire. The Star Wars Holiday Special was very poorly received and was never rebroadcast or released on video. But the special did introduce audiences to Boba Fett, and I think that’s a pretty big win! Star Wars Birthday Party
Our little Star Wars fan turned three, and we celebrated with a galactic birthday party! Watching our son meet Darth Vader at Walt Disney World inspired this Star Wars birthday party theme. Seeing him interact with the intimidating Sith lord and channel his own little dark side had me absolutely beaming. It’s my favorite memory from our trip! Our Star Wars Themed Nursery
Baby Ezra arrived this week on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021. Our little boy decided to come a whole week early! You’d think this ‘experienced’ mom would have been ready, but we most certainly were not. Luckily, everything fell into place quickly, and we were able to add the finishing touches to his nursery in a matter of days after getting home from the hospital.
