This week’s themed dinner was inspired by the horror comedy musical – Little Shop of Horrors! While it’s still very much the summer season, come August, we can’t help but get excited for Halloween. So, to dip our toes in the spooky season while still respecting these sunshiny days, I aspired to create a themed dinner that touched on both seasons. This week, we had a barking good time enjoying a special themed dinner to 101 Dalmatians! 101 Dalmatians is one of my kids’ favorite Disney movies – you really can’t go wrong with 101 adorable puppies. We capped off our Halloween dinner series with a menu inspired by It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown has been a timeless Halloween tradition since it first aired in 1966. Based on the comic strip Peanuts, this animated special follows Charlie Brown and his friends as they celebrate Halloween. Ghostbusters Themed Dinner
It’s not Halloween in our household until we’ve watched Ghostbusters, and this year we enjoyed a special themed dinner to celebrate! One of my favorite Halloween memories was the year we all dressed up as Ghostbuster characters for trick-or-treating.
