Zootopia Themed Dinner
Get ready to “try everything” with our Zootopia themed dinner and movie night! In the bustling mammal metropolis of Zootopia, anyone can be anything! And this motto rings true for Judy Hopps, the first bunny to join Zootopia’s police department. After receiving her first case, she teams up with Nick Wilde (a fox con artist) to investigate a series of animal disappearances. However, their investigations lead them to uncover an even deeper conspiracy in their city. My kids are animal-lovers, so it’s no surprise Zootopia is a hit with the family. The diverse cast of animal characters, witty humor, and well-crafted mystery have made Zootopia a staple of movie nights,…

KPop Demon Hunters Themed Dinner
KPop Demon Hunters fandom has been sweeping the nation, and my family is no exception. The story, characters, and (best of all) music have made this one of our favorite films to enjoy together. So, I created a KPop Demon Hunters themed dinner to take our next movie night up a notch. I’ll be honest, when I first saw Netflix advertise this movie, I thought the concept seemed silly. Pop idols slaying demons? I think I’ll pass. But when I learned adults my age were obsessing over the movie as much as the kids, we had to see what the fuss was about. And boy, was I wrong about dismissing…

Disney Valentine’s Day Charcuterie Board
This week, we added a touch of Disney magic to our Valentine’s Day celebrations with a Mickey and Minnie themed charcuterie board! At our house, Valentine’s Day is a family affair. Every year, we host a Valentine’s Day party for the kids with crafts, games, and special treats. And this year, I thought it would be fun to create a themed charcuterie board for our celebration. As you probably know, we love adding a touch of Disney magic to our days. So, for added pixie dust on Valentine’s Day, I decided to make a Mickey and Minnie charcuterie board. They are the original Disney couple, after all! To pull it…

Morimoto Asia – A Disney Dining Review!
This week, we’re heading to Disney Springs to share our recent dining review of Morimoto Asia! Chef Masaharu Morimoto, acclaimed Iron Chef and Food Network star since 1998, is the creative force and owner of this signature restaurant. His Pan-Asian menu takes inspiration from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisines while seamlessly blending Western and Asian ingredients. I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews of Morimoto Asia, so I couldn’t wait to try it for myself. This restaurant has been at the top of my Disney bucket list for an evening with my husband. However, vacationing with three kids in tow hasn’t afforded us that highly anticipated Disney date night just yet.…

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup – Le Cellier Steakhouse (EPCOT, Walt Disney World) Kicking off our soup recipes from the Disney parks is the wildly popular Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup from EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion. Star Wars: Hoth Battle Party
We celebrated my little Star Wars fan’s fifth birthday with a Hoth Battle party! For the past couple years, my son has been all about Star Wars. Trips to Galaxy’s Edge have been highlights of Disney vacations, and visiting Darth Vader is now a beloved tradition. But in all the Star Wars galaxy, there’s one thing my little guy loves above all else – Imperial Walkers. His fascination with them began within the pages of his Star Wars board book, and then grew after coming face to face with his first AT-AT in Walt Disney World. Discovering my husband’s old N64 game (Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire) sealed the…

New Menu Items at Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar
During the holiday season, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar transforms into a festive den of yuletide merriment. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting with my family to experience the Holiday Bar and Halloween Bar. But on a recent girls trip, I couldn’t wait to show my friends the incredible festive theming at Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar – and also sample the brand-new menu items! Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is a family-friendly lounge located in Disney Springs. This watering hole is designed to resemble an airplane hangar-turned-dive bar. And who should be the proprietor of such a location? Well, none other than Indiana Jones’s high-flying and adventure-seeking pal – Jock Lindsey! Fans…

How to Throw a Star Wars Life Day Party
This week, we combined our love of Star Wars and Christmas by throwing a Life Day party! What is Life Day, you ask? Well, Star Wars super fans can tell you that Life Day is a Wookiee holiday first introduced in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special. The special follows Chewbacca and Han Solo, as they attempt to get Chewy home in time for the holiday while evading the Galactic Empire. The Star Wars Holiday Special was very poorly received and was never rebroadcast or released on video. But the special did introduce audiences to Boba Fett, and I think that’s a pretty big win! While I understand the criticisms…
