How to Throw a Star Wars Life Day Party
This week, we combined our love of Star Wars and Christmas by throwing a Life Day party! What is Life Day, you ask? Well, Star Wars super fans can tell you that Life Day is a Wookiee holiday first introduced in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special. The special follows Chewbacca and Han Solo, as they attempt to get Chewy home in time for the holiday while evading the Galactic Empire. This week’s themed dinner was inspired by the horror comedy musical – Little Shop of Horrors! While it’s still very much the summer season, come August, we can’t help but get excited for Halloween. So, to dip our toes in the spooky season while still respecting these sunshiny days, I aspired to create a themed dinner that touched on both seasons.
