Minnie’s Halloween Dine Character Dinner – A Review!

This week, we’re reviewing Minnie’s Halloween Dine at Hollywood & Vine! Hollywood & Vine is a table service restaurant located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  The Art Deco-inspired space is described as a “Cafeteria to the Stars” which hosts a casual family buffet accompanied by character meet-and-greets. During breakfast, guests interact with popular Disney Junior pals.  Lunch and dinner service, however, switches to seasonal dining parties with Minnie and the gang.  During the fall months, Hollywood & Vine is home to Minnie’s Halloween Dine!  Guests of Minnie’s Halloween Dine get to celebrate the spooky season with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto wearing their best Halloween attire. Coraline Themed Dinner

With spooky season in full swing, we continued our themed dinner nights with a menu inspired by the movie, Coraline! Coraline is one of our favorite movies to watch during our Halloween festivities.  We find ourselves referencing it all year long!  The film is haunting, yet charming, and the perfect basis for a spooky themed dinner. Food is a major factor in the film, as Coraline’s sinister Other Mother uses it to lure Coraline into her idealized fantasy world.  Because of this, I’ve always wanted to create a Coraline themed dinner, but the task was a little daunting.  Other Mother is a legendary cook, after all!  I knew it was…

Ok, so this is a big step away from the Disney magic I usually focus on.  But I have a horror-loving 15-year-old I gotta bend the rules for sometimes!  So, we came up with some fun horror-themed dishes to enjoy during our horror movie marathon.  Each menu item features one of our favorite horror icons: Michael Myers, Ghostface, Jason Voorhees, Pennywise, Freddy Krueger, and Chucky. Which dish will you be executing this…

Halloween starts early in our house – too early some may say.  But the way I see it, if Halloween parties are taking place at Disney, then we should be celebrating too! Haunted Mansion Themed Dinner

Welcome, foolish mortals.  This week, we are wrapping up our Halloween festivities with a Haunted Mansion themed dinner! There’s no doubt about it – the Haunted Mansion is my absolute favorite attraction at the Disney Parks.  This fan-favorite ride takes guests on a spooky tour through a dilapidated estate inhabited by the spirits of the deceased. The Haunted Mansion has developed quite a large and devoted following over the years, and it’s no surprise.  The moment you step through the mansion’s doors, you become totally immersed in the rich storyline.  It’s satisfyingly creepy, but also fun and light-hearted.  Everywhere you look there are amazing details to discover, which makes you…

    Nightmare Before Christmas Themed Dinner

This week, we had a spooky and merry time enjoying a Nightmare Before Christmas Dinner! The Nightmare Before Christmas is the perfect mashup of Halloween and Christmas spirit.  There is a hot debate as to whether it’s considered a Halloween or Christmas movie, but I personally believe it’s a Christmas movie for the following reasons: It begins with the conclusion of Halloween It takes place during the Christmas season The plot is about the discovery and celebration of Christmas spirit Santa is in it! It’s our family tradition to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas after a night of trick-or-treating to conclude Halloween and welcome the Christmas season!  (Yes, I’m that…
