SpongeBob SquarePants Birthday Party Theme
This week, we celebrated my daughter’s 8th birthday with a SpongeBob SquarePants party theme! My kids are big SpongeBob fans. It all started with my oldest, who is now 16 – if you can believe it! She adored the cartoon growing up, so for her 3rd birthday I made her a SpongeBob cake. Little did I know then, but that would be the start of many themed dinners. Since my oldest passed on her love of SpongeBob to her younger siblings, I thought it would be fun to revisit the theme for my younger daughter’s 8th birthday party. Her SpongeBob birthday party featured DIY decorations, party games, and food and…

Star Wars Birthday Party
Our little Star Wars fan turned three, and we celebrated with a galactic birthday party! Watching our son meet Darth Vader at Walt Disney World inspired this Star Wars birthday party theme. Seeing him interact with the intimidating Sith lord and channel his own little dark side had me absolutely beaming. It’s my favorite memory from our trip! Due to much encouragement from me, Ezra has grown into a big fan of Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire. Don’t get me wrong, he loves the good guys too! But there’s just something so awesome about the bad guys of Star Wars, so that was the focus for his birthday party.…

Earth Day is an important time to teach kids about how our planet takes care of us, and why it’s so important to take care of our planet. It’s never too early to start teaching children these important lessons. And one of the best ways to educate kiddos is by modeling positive behaviors yourself! By getting kids involved in caring for the planet, you are encouraging them to continue these practices as they get older. So, here are…

We are finally in the double digits of our Disney vacation countdown. To celebrate, I thought it would be fun to create our very own printable to help the kids get excited for the trip. Getting your family involved in the countdown is one of the best parts of trip planning, after all! I love using a countdown because it helps the kids understand how soon (or oftentimes, how very far away) the upcoming trip is. Plus, it’s pretty exciting to see that number shift from…
