Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen – A Review!
Today, I am sharing our review from one of Magic Kingdom’s best-themed table service restaurants – Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen! That is QUITE a name. Referred to simply as the Skipper Canteen, this Adventureland dining location is a continuation of the theming and story of the Jungle Cruise attraction. As the story goes, due to the success of the Jungle Cruises, the skippers opened the doors of their headquarters and kitchens to feed hungry travelers passing through. Skippers make up the waitstaff of the restaurant – so be prepared for more corny jokes and silly puns during your visit. Home to “World-Famous Jungle Cuisine,” the menu features exotic…

Jungle Cruise Themed Dinner
The long-anticipated Jungle Cruise movie recently premiered, and we did a themed dinner to celebrate the night! This film is based on the beloved attraction in Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Full of corny dad jokes and groan-worthy puns, Jungle Cruise is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite attractions in the parks. And I’m happy to say, the film was successful in incorporating that classic fun. For our Jungle Cruise Themed Dinner menu, I took inspiration from one of my favorite table service restaurants in Magic Kingdom – Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen! That may seem like a mouthful, but if you are a big fan of the Jungle Cruise…

Oliver and Company Themed Dinner Night
This week, our themed Disney Dinner is inspired by the animated classic, Oliver and Company! This film is loosely based on the story of Oliver Twist and features a lost kitten who joins up with a gang of dogs in New York City. My kids love this movie because it features fun musical numbers, lovable furry friends, and the great city of New York! Not only did we enjoy watching Oliver and Company with this themed dinner, but we also started the evening out by watching a doggie dock diving competition at our local sports store. The kids enjoyed watching the “dock dogs” show off their jumping skills before ending…

A Hamilton Themed Dinner – Featuring Recipes from Liberty Tree Tavern!
This week, we threw a Hamilton Themed Dinner party featuring recipes from Walt Disney World’s colonial-themed restaurant – Liberty Tree Tavern! With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, I wanted to get patriotic for this week’s Disney Themed Dinner. My kiddos are obsessed with the music from Hamilton, so I figured that would be a great Disney+ offering to pay tribute to some of our founding fathers! As far as the dinner offerings were concerned, my mind immediately went to Walt Disney World’s Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom. This themed land transports guests to colonial times, where they can admire replicas of the Liberty Bell, Liberty Tree, and audio-animatronics…
