5 Disney Mac and Cheese Recipes to Make at Home!

National Mac and Cheese Day is coming up on July 14^th, and I’ve rounded up some Official Disney Mac and Cheese Recipes to celebrate the day!  These five Mac and Cheese recipes hail from all over the Disney Parks.  Which one do you think YOU’LL test out on National Mac and Cheese Day?

1. Gourmet Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Mac and Cheese – EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival

This popular item from the Mac & Cheese Marketplace festival booth showcases creamy Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese with a crunchy toasted panko topping.  This recipe also utilizes my most FAVORITE type of noodle – cavatappi!  You won’t find a more warm or comforting mac and cheese recipe than this – check out the recipe at Disney Parks Blog!

2. Gratin de Macaroni – Les Chefs de France (EPCOT)

This French spin on macaroni and cheese utilizes creamy and nutty Gruyère cheese, as well as warm spices such as nutmeg.  Preparation largely takes place on the stovetop, then is transferred to the oven to achieve a golden-brown crunch on the top layer of cheese.  Bon Appétit!  You can find the full recipe over at Disney Food Blog.     

3. Jiko Macaroni and Cheese – Animal Kingdom Lodge (Walt Disney World Resort)

Parkgoers who have stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge will be familiar with this famous Disney Mac and Cheese Recipe.  While typically served as a side dish to the Oak-Grilled Filet at Jiko, this mac and cheese has gained notoriety among guests.  This recipe utilizes traditional elbow macaroni and Italian cheeses.  As an added perk, it comes together quickly on the stovetop and needs no time in the oven!  Check out this Disney Mac and Cheese Recipe over at Disney Food Blog!   

4. Brisket Mac and Cheese – Smokejumpers Grill (Disney California Adventure Park)

For those looking for some tasty add-ins for their traditional mac and cheese, this recipe is for you!  The Brisket Mac and Cheese from Disney California Adventure features smoked beef brisket, pickled red onions, and crispy fried shallots.  With all these elements, preparation is a bit more laborious.  But the end result is oh so worth it!  You can find the recipe over at Disney Parks Blog!

5. Nudel Gratin – Biergarten Restaurant (EPCOT)
