Enchanted Themed Dinner and Movie Night
This week we enjoyed a special dinner and movie night themed to the Disney motion picture, Enchanted! On the surface, Enchanted seems like a run-of-the-mill fairytale featuring an evil queen attempting to curse an innocent maiden. But as the story unfolds, viewers learn this fairytale is anything but ordinary. Giselle is a maiden living in a fairytale land who dreams of finding her soulmate to share true love’s kiss with. Nightmare Before Christmas Themed Dinner and Recipes
This week, we had a spooky and merry time enjoying a Nightmare Before Christmas themed dinner! The Nightmare Before Christmas is the perfect mashup of Halloween and Christmas spirit. I also made our very own poison apple to incorporate in our Snow White dinner décor. Click HERE to see the tutorial I used as well as other Disney Halloween craft tutorials. Snow White Dinner Menu As I mentioned before, our Snow White dinner menu was inspired by traditional…

Frozen Themed Dinner
The cold, dark winter days of January are here, so I decided to brighten things up with a Frozen Themed Dinner! What better movie to enjoy while the average temp outside is 10 below zero? And coincidentally, we found ourselves in the middle of a winter storm the day of our dinner party. The cold may never bother Elsa, but it sure is affecting me! The menu I created for our Frozen Themed Dinner was influenced by some fun food references in the film. And because Frozen is set in Norway, I also took inspiration from traditional Norwegian cuisine. Incorporating these Norwegian dishes on our menu was a great opportunity…
