The week, we stepped into the land of Oz with a spellbinding Wicked themed dinner! Inspired by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wicked first debuted on Broadway in 2003. The musical focuses on two witches, Elphaba and Glinda, and the events which occurred before and after Dorothy Gale donned her ruby slippers. Despite being polar opposites in nature, Elphaba and Glinda develop a deep friendship. However, their friendship is tested by the corrupt rule of Oz and ultimately leads to Elphaba’s descent into villainy as the Wicked Witch of the West.
